Asbestos was extensively used as a building material in the UK from the 1950s through to the mid-1980s. It was used for a variety of purposes and was ideal for fireproofing and insulation.
However, asbestos is no longer used since its fibres can kill!
Inhaling or swalling asbestos fibres can lead to Asbestosis, a serious long-term — and potentially life-threatening — lung condition.
We will remove ‘white’ asbestos soffits in accordance with the current legislation as set out in the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2006 and transport and dispose of the waste in accordance with Hazardous Waste Regulations.

“GFS provided a professional service from start to finish. After the initial enquiry and a quotation from Gavin, there was no pressure. The workmen were polite and it was obvious they took pride in their work striving on through one day of heavy rain to get the job done! We are more than happy with the result and will recommend you to friends and neighbours. Thank You.”
“Very efficient and professional from the start. A pleasure to do business with.”
“The two fitters, Phil and Aaron were first class and very hard working. Both were an absolute pleasure to have and never stopped working. These two fitters were excellent ambassadors for your company.”
