Asbestos was extensively used as a building material in the UK from the 1950s through to the mid-1980s. It was used for a variety of purposes and was ideal for fireproofing and insulation.
However, asbestos is no longer used since its fibres can kill!
Inhaling or swalling asbestos fibres can lead to Asbestosis, a serious long-term — and potentially life-threatening — lung condition.
We will remove ‘white’ asbestos soffits in accordance with the current legislation as set out in the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2006 and transport and dispose of the waste in accordance with Hazardous Waste Regulations.

“The two young men who did the work are a credit to your company. They arrived very early and worked non-stop without supervision, including working hard in very poor weather conditions. They are exceptional employees and you should be very proud of them.”
“I found the installers to be very helpful and careful to ensure that my requirements were fully met. Their advice on further work needed while they were on site proved to be valuable.”
“Excellent job. Small problems were dealt with quickly and efficiently.”
“I would recommend GFS Plastics, we were very impressed with the quality of the work.”
