Dry verge installation for your property in West & North Yorkshire

Would you like a strong, watertight verge without needing to use mortar? GFS Plastics can install universal dry verge systems that are suitable for use with standard concrete interlocking tiles. Some reasons to install a dry verge to your property:

  • Can help prevent ingress of birds and vermin
  • Fast and easy to install
  • Competitively priced
  • Long term economy and safety - no need to repair failing mortar
  • Quality tested and complies with BS 5534

Designed to overcome all the typical problems associated with mortar bedded verges, this strong and durable system provides a maintenance free and weatherproof verge finish. It retains the appearance of a traditionally stepped verge for brickwork, render or bargeboard constructions for duo and mono-pitched roofs, and allows installation in adverse weather conditions.

We do NOT over clad for many important reasons

GFS Plastics Ltd do not over clad the existing roofline. Over cladding is a cheaper short term option which will cover and only temporarily improve the appearance of the roofline. As a company GFS Plastics Ltd maintains the highest quality workmanship at all times. One of the ways we do this is by never over cladding. The reason why is very simple: covering over rotting wood will compound and accelerate the rotting process. Even good dry wood will suffer from over cladding, the wood will not be able to breathe, will sweat and start to rot.
